Static vs rotating
Most events use a static QR — screenshot works if the organizer allows.
Premium / high-fraud-risk events enable rotating QR — code refreshes every few seconds on the ticket page.
Entry
Keep the ticket page open in your browser. Do not rely on a photo of the QR — door scanners validate the current rotation window.
If scan fails
Staff can look up registration number or email. Arrive early if the event uses rotating codes.
