Tour vs single event
Not sure which to create? Read Single event vs multi-city tour first.
A tour = many events (one per city/date) for the same headline artist, sharing one tour slug — not one event with multiple dates.
What tours do
Each city date is its own event with its own checkout, but shared tour metadata groups them under one headline artist for:
- A Featured tours rail on Find events
- A public tour page:
/events/tours/{tour-slug}listing all stops - Bulk branding updates across stops
Setup
- Create the first tour date event
- Open Multi-city tour panel → set Tour URL slug (e.g.
kingdom-world-tour) and Tour name - Save on that date, then create additional city events with the same tour slug
- Use bulk apply to sync cover image, hosted-by name, or discovery flags across selected stops
- Publish every stop
Discovery rules
- Tour stops appear in the Featured carousel, not duplicated in the single-show grid
- Upload a real cover image (Media Library) — required for homepage discovery
- Enable Discover on platform via bulk apply when seeding many stops
Fan journey
Fans browse the tour → pick a city → checkout on that stop's event page.
