When to use external listing
Choose External site — listing only when:
- You already sell on Eventbrite, See Tickets, Ticketmaster, or your church website
- You want ticketingbook for discovery and marketing only
- You do not want Stripe Connect or payouts through Sendifai for this event
Fans see your full event page on ticketingbook (date, venue, photos, FAQ) but tap Get tickets to leave for your official vendor.
Setup
- Dashboard → your event → Settings
- Under Listing & ticket source, select External site — listing only on ticketingbook
- Enter your External ticket URL (must be https)
- Optional: customize the button label (e.g. "Buy on Eventbrite")
- Publish the event
What still works
- Discovery homepage and org calendar
- Share links and SEO on
/e/{slug} - Custom domain pointing at your event page
What does not run on ticketingbook
- Checkout, promo codes, seating selection, or Stripe payments for this event
- Box office / walk-up sales through Sendifai (use your external vendor for door sales)
Switching later
Change back to ticketingbook checkout when you are ready to sell natively — connect Stripe in Settings first for paid tickets.
